Melissa S. Vice is Director of the Vulnerability Disclosure Program at the DoD Cyber Crimes Center (DC3), an Air Force Field Operating Agency. Formerly at the Pentagon, Ms. Vice was CTO of the Business Mission Area for The Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, Management (SAF/MG) / Deputy Chief Management Office, in charge of road-mapping 400+ information systems to the cloud. Before 13 years with the DoD, Ms. Vice was at GE Aviation Division as a global database developer and administrator for all commercial and military aircraft engine repairs worldwide. Ms. Vice earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Cybersecurity from University of Maryland University College. She was a Visiting Fellow at NSI in 2021, and a national strategist in the Mitchell Institutes’ Project Everest think tank. Ms. Vice was presented the U.S. Air Force Civilian Achievement Award in 2021 for leadership and resiliency during the COVID pandemic.
